UAB Signs Multi-Year Deal with Scout to Advance Athlete Empowerment
UAB is adopting Scout's full platform to drive innovation, competitiveness, and athlete success — one of the most comprehensive partnerships of its kind in college sports.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The University of Alabama at Birmingham is deepening its investment in student-athletes, announcing a multi-year partnership with Scout, a financial technology company committed to athlete empowerment and education.
Through the collaboration, UAB will adopt Scout's full suite: Scout Command, which gives the athletic department a single platform to manage revenue-share distribution, roster limits, and cap accounting, and an athlete-facing app that puts financial education, one-on-one support, and tools for taxes, savings, LLC formation, and long-term planning in athletes' hands.
